These 5 foods you should never eat. They practically force the human body to produce fat-storing and appetite hormones. Some people get lucky and produce less, but many ar not that lucky. What is worse is the damage these foods do to you doesn’t just end with the weight and your self-esteem, these foods can also dramatically increase your risk of serious illnesses. So no matter what your weight is, you should quit eating these five foods no matter your physical condition.
I will bet that three of these five foods listed here will shock you. Let’s start with one that really isn’t a food, it is actually a drink…and one that you have been told forever how “healthy” it is for you.
1. Concentrated Orange Juice
Most concentrated fruit juices can cause problems with your weight. These include concntrated apple juice, cranberry juice and other concentrated fruit juices. You may ask yourself..”how is this possible, isn’t fruit good for you?” Well I think we all know that the problem wasn’t with the fruit, so it must be the way fruits are concentrated into juice. Many companies remove the fiber along with other nutritious elements out during the “concentrating” process. Fiber in fruit normally will reduce the spike in blood sugar and with the fiber taken out what is essentially left over is sugar water. What happens when your blood sugar is too high, your body goes into fat storing mode. This tells your body to store anything you eat as fat.
Blood sugar levels are directly related to insulin levels. Insulin is also known as your fat-storing hormone. The hormonal imbalance with insulin can cause weight gain because of the raised blood sugar levels. Most concentrated fruit juices have just as much, or EVEN MORE sugar than soda. Excess sugar in our diet is probably the number one thing to be careful of.
It’s not just the concentrated juice you have to worry about. A lot of processed foods have excess sugar in them. These are disguised in scientific names like:
High fructose corn syrup
Dextran
Dextrose
Fruit juice concentrate
